Oregon AEYC was thrilled to hold the 2025 Waves of Change Summer Conference June 20-21 Newport Oregon. We enjoyed an inspiring and enriching weekend at the conference, set in the scenic coastal town of Newport Oregon.
 
Friday June 20th, we kicked off the weekend with a community networking event at Central Coast Community College. Connections were made among educators, advocates, and early childhood professionals as we enjoyed the film Make a Circle.  


Saturday June 21st, we dove into a full day of learning and connection featuring a keynote address from Dr Cindy Ryan followed by dynamic morning and afternoon breakout sessions to supporting professional growth.
 

Betty Gray Scholarship

To be eligible for scholarship support, you must be at an Oregon Registry Step 1 - 8.5 and work directly with children at least 20 hours per week in a licensed child care facility. The OCCD Scholarship only covers $75, you are responsible to pay the remaining balance.

ORAEYC offers financial assistance to help with the cost of conference fees and membership. If you do not qualify for the Betty Gray or Family Childcare scholarship programs, you can apply for assistance through our affiliate office.
