Scholarships

The Betty Gray Early Childhood Scholarship Program

This program supports the growth of quality child care in Oregon by providing financial support for childhood educators working in Oregon.  To be eligible for scholarship support, you must be at an Oregon Registry Step 1-8.5 and work directly with children at least 20 hours a week in a licensed child care facility. The OCCD Scholarship only covers $80 per day; you are responsible to pay the balance.

Oregon's Family Child Care Scholarship

This scholarship provides financial support to individuals for the purpose of professional development in the early learning field. The scholarship is available to individuals named as the Provider on an Oregon Registered Family or Certified Family Child Care license. The conference scholarship provides up to $200 towards the cost of attending.

ORAEYC Financial Assistance Program

ORAEYC offers financial assistance to help with the cost of conference fees and membership.  If you do not qualify for the Betty Gray or Family Child Care scholarship programs, you can apply for assistance through our affiliate office. Funds are limited and are on a first come, first served basis, so be sure to get your application in as soon as possible. We also offer discounted conference fees for our volunteers. Contact Sara if you are interested in learning more about volunteer opportunities.
