La conferencia 2019 Stronger Together reúne a la comunidad de educación infantil temprana y promueve la promoción, la colaboración y el desarrollo profesional. Nosotros creemos que aprovechar las fortalezas de nuestras organizaciones, programas y educadores individuales es el mejor camino hacia un futuro más brillante para nuestros niños.

 

El 11 y 12 de octubre, Oregon AEYC, CCR & R del Condado de Multnomah y Threads of Justice están combinando nuestros recursos y comunidades para organizar un evento de fin de semana diseñado para que los asistentes aprendan, establezcan contactos e influyan a otros. Ofreceremos talleres atractivos e interactivos para informarnos y guiarnos en nuestro trabajo con niños y familias en nuestras diversas comunidades. El comité de la conferencia lo invita a unirse a nosotros para crear nuevos entendimientos y adoptar nuevas perspectivas sobre el trabajo que realiza y el papel que usted desempeña en su comunidad de la primera infancia.

 

Nuestra conferencia Stronger Together ofrecerá algo para todos ustedes. Lo invitamos a:

  • Escuchar de la Directora del Estado de Aprendizaje Temprano Miriam Calderon acerca de la dirección del aprendizaje temprano en Oregon

  • Discutir su rol como defensor de los derechos de los niños y cuidado de calidad

  • Conocer otros maestros y ver ampliamente las practica en sus programas

  • Examinar como su propia cultura influencia la manera de como educa los niños

  • Desarrollar habilidades de como observar el juego de los niños y desarrollar su currículo

  • Aprender acerca de las nuevas iniciativas en la educación temprana alrededor del estado

  • Explorar cuestiones de salud mental los cuales enfrentan los niños el día de hoy

  • Aprender sobre prácticas de información-trauma con niños y familias

  • Ampliar su Practica Comunitaria

Betty Gray Scholarship

To be eligible for scholarship support, you must be at an Oregon Registry Step 1 - 8.5 and work directly with children at least 20 hours per week in a licensed child care facility. The OCCD Scholarship only covers $80 per day: you are responsible to pay the pay the balance. 

Oregon's Family Childcare Scholarship

This scholarship is available to individuals names as the Provider of an Oregon Registered Family or certified Family Child Care license. The conference scholarship provides up to $200 towards the cost of attending.

ORAEYC Financial Assistance Program 

ORAEYC offers financial assistance to help with the cost of conference fees and membership. If you do not qualify for the Betty Gray or Family Childcare scholarship programs, you can apply for assistance through our affiliate office.

1 Credit hour of graduate or undergraduate college credit is available for an additional fee through Southern Oregon University. Those wishing to receive college credit will sign up and pay for the credit at the registration booth on Friday morning and attend both days of the conference.
